While Heroes Tribute Gala is the anchor event of Heroes Tribute Weekend, our other events make the weekend even more enjoyable and meaningful for all.

FRIDAY EVENING AT THE WATERFRONT

5:00 p.m. (CENTRAL) until ????


We will gather in a private fenced-in area at the waterfront behind the Hampton Inn for food, fun, and fellowship. (There is no program, so arrive at your leisure.)

We will relax under a big tent and enjoy food and fixings provided by our friends at Mission Barbeque.

Outside the tent, but still within our private fenced-in area, we will enjoy cornhole, volleyball, and other games.

Just outside our compound will be the sights, sounds, food, and drink of Owensboro’s highly acclaimed “Friday After 5” family-friendly concert and street fair festival! (Check out https://FridayAfter5.com for more information.)

Venture out into the crowd as desired, then come back to our private area to relax with friends, new and old.

You can come and go as often as you like, or just hang with us!

SURVIVOR LUNCHEON

Saturday @ 11:30 a.m. (CENTRAL) Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m.


**THIS IS A SURVIVOR-ONLY EVENT**

All immediate survivors of fallen first responders are invited to attend.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet and spend time with peers and for informal discussion of survivor issues.

SUNDAY BREAKFAST AT THE WATERFRONT

Served from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. (CENTRAL)


Join us in our private fenced-in area at the waterfront behind the Hampton Inn for a delightful breakfast catered by Owensboro’s Ole South Barbeque.

Our Sunday Breakfast is a very pleasant and relaxed way to wrap up Heroes Tribute Weekend and to spend a little extra time with friends before traveling home.

This is an informal event with no program. Just be certain to get your food before 10:30 a.m.!
